If you would like to come to this year’s Annual Fundraiser event in September at Thirlmere Recreation Hall in the Lake District, please complete this online registration form.

There will be updates and more information as we move through the year but the plan is to meet at The Hall at 08:30 – 08:45 (precise time to be confirmed closer to the date) on the morning of the 12th September and do a walk in the area depending on weather, fitness levels, and so on. As always, several options will be available.

This will be followed by tea, coffee and cake on our return, and then an evening of food and relaxation and fun all in the name of raising money to make a difference to the rural and remote mountain communities in Nepal and Peru that many of us have visited, are visiting, or would love to visit.

This year’s annual fundraising walk and dinner will be on Saturday 12 September 2026 in Thirlmere in the Lake District.

There are plenty of options for the walk(s) and we will gather for the ever popular meal and social at Thirlmere Village Hall in the evening.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with Val and friends old and new, and to support LED’s work in remote mountain communities of Nepal and Peru.

This will be followed by tea, coffee and cake on our return, and then an evening of food and relaxation and fun all in the name of raising money to make a difference to the rural and remote mountain communities in Nepal and Peru that many of us have visited, are visiting, or would love to visit. 

Some of you may remember that we have been to Mungrisdale Village Hall before – we loved it so much we’re going back!!!
